1. Log into MyBama
2. Go to the Admissions & Scholarships section on the left-hand side
3. Find the UA Early College channel and click on Alabama Scholarship Award Manager
4. Click the Sign-In button in the top right corner.
5. Click Sign In With Your Institution button.
6. The first page you access will be UA’s General Application. Follow the Early College Scholarship Application Instructions:
a. Only complete the required fields (noted with an asterisk):
*Choose the category(s) below that best represents your personal experience with hardship or extenuating circumstances.
*Describe the extenuating circumstances or hardships you have faced.
* Authorize and Release Statement
7. Once you submit the General Application, you should now see the Other Recommended Opportunities section on the left-hand side.
8. After clicking the Other Recommended Opportunities menu, you should see scholarships for which you are eligible. Click the Apply Button for the following scholarships, based on your eligibility:
- Richard H. and Barbara J. Smith Family Early College Endowed Scholarship
- William B. Mixon Family Early College Endowed Scholarship
- UA Early College Blackbelt Communities Endowed Scholarship
9. Follow the instructions for each scholarship and corresponding essay prompts. Click the Finish and Submit button when complete.
