While UA Early College provides students with many resources to learn and grow, we have found any student can be successful in our program if they put the time and effort.
Aside from the overall requirements (see eligibility requirements here), students must commit to put in the extra work. They must complete college course assignments while maintaining their high academic performance in their high school courses. This takes a motivated and hard-working young person. We also find that students who have a support network at home or school, for example an involved adult or a cohort also involved in UA Early College, perform well and are more prone to meet expectations. As an educator who is involved with students day to day, you are best suited to know which students will get the most out of UA Early College.
